Chateau la Croix de Roche - Bordeaux Superieur 2014
This organic wine is a blend of Merlot, Carmenere, Petit Verdot and Malbec is a favourite for our Bordeaux lovers. Complex, well rounded and now drinking at its apogee and will holdthere for another 2 or 3 years. It's soft and fruity with notes of cherry and plum predominant. Fine on the palate with soft ripe tannins and an elegant, longish finish.

The 20 hectares of vineyards for this super petit chateaux are located on the north bank close to the appellations of St Emilion and Fronsac, the latter being where the family also have vines. They are worked both orgnically and biodynamically and the property has some considerable reputation in Bordeax for producing high quality wines of good value.
