Château Pontet Plaisance 2011, Saint-Émilion

Chateau Pontet Plaisance 2011 is deep garnet. On the nose: black fruits, mulberry and cherry aromas, with a hint of vanilla from the oak. Full and velvety on the palate, very aromatic and well-balanced, with supple tannins and hints of menthol and toast on the finish. It is certainly very approachable now, but it also has great potential for the next four or five years.
