Domaine de l'Arlot Cote de Nuits Villages Clos du Chapeau 2014
As ever from this estate, this is a text book red Burgundy that comes from the village of Comblanchien and the vineyard derives its name from the hat-shaped profile. Black fruit dominates the palate but now some more developed aromas and flavours can be discerned and it offers great drinking to Burgundy lovers at a very affordable price. Although a relatively lowly appellation this still has a good 5 years of great drinking ahead of it.
