From Allen Meadows'
A discreet application of wood marries into fresh if very sombre aromas of dark berry fruit and earth. There is good energy and detail to the middle weight flavours that exude a fine minerality on the mildly austere and lingering finish. 87-90 Points

From Neal Martin writing on Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
The 2014 Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin has crisp raspberry and fresh strawberry scents. The palate has a tensile, linear opening. This is taut, masculine and quite serious, but there is ample freshness on the finish. 87-89 Points
