"The 2012 Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Boudriottes comes courtesy of 0.80-hectares of vine planted between 1945 and 1987. It boasts a vivacious bouquet with vibrant citrus fruit, lemon thyme and lime flower. The aromatics here make an immediate impression. The palate is very tense with crisp acidity, touches of bitter lemon and a very focused, mineral rich finish. Bon vin." 93 Points. Neal Martin, Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate.

La Boudriotte is a small premier cru vineyard site of the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation in Burgundy. Located just south-east of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, this gently sloping, east-facing vineyard produces both red wines from Pinot Noir and white wines from Chardonnay. La Boudriotte lies within the grounds of the Morgeot Abbey and it is technically a sub-division of the more-famous Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot premier cru. In fact, it is unusual to find a Chassagne-Montrachet La Boudriotte as the wines are more often labelled with the Morgeot name.
