Domaine Fontaine Gagnard Chassagne Montrachet Rouge 2016
As for everybody in Chassagne Montrachet, the late spring frost in April rather ruined the 2016 harvest but the small quantity harvested has been dealt with superbly by Celine Fontaine and the results are good. Red fruits dominate the nose and on the palate it has similar notes combined with a juicy acidity and a crunchy finish. An excellent offering to drink in the next 3 or 4 years.
