Domaine Rapet Pere Et Fils Corton Pougets Grand Cru 2017 is a generous and well fruited wine that is complex with such notes as damp undergrowth behind the fine fruit. On the palate it is well structured with plenty of supporting tannins. A big brooding wine that's built to last for 15 to 20 years. A great effort from this fine estate.

Domaine Rapet Père Et Fils aims to make brightly fruited wines with rich, yet integrated tannins - the mark of well ripened grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are carefully sorted at the winery before fermentation and ageing that takes place in oak barrels, of which 20% are new. The grapes and the wine are handled as little as possible to preserve every ounce of their character.
