Nathalie Tollot has said that they lost around a quarter of their 2013 Domaine Tollot-Beaut Corton Grand Cru because of hail, but what they were left with is truly a joy to drink. The oak influence is still quite noticeable on the nose, although it will integrate with a little more age. The palate is nicely balanced with supple tannins and a keen thread of acidity. The oak is well contained by the fruit and the structure, and there is fine mineral presence on the taut finish.
