Maison Champy Auxey-Duresses 2007 offers an intense and elegant nose, opening with notes of fresh fruit (lychee) and flowers (honeysuckle and orange blossom). It offers a fresh, rich palate combining smoothness and roundness. A long and lingering finish has the complexity and persitence worthy of its nickname "little Meursault".

Situated in the heart of the Côte De Beaune, the limestone-marl soils of Auxey-Duresses are ideal for Chardonnay. Here you find great aromatic intensity, the palate is fresh and lively with fruit foremost and the oak well integrated. Although hard to pronounce (try "oaksy duress"!), this great little wine offers excellent value.
