Maison Champy Beaune 1er Cru Les Champs Pimonts 2010 has a lovely weight of black cherry fruit, delicate spice and elegant, subtle oak on the nose. The palate has a fresh and well sculpted structure with a delicate minerality and toasted oak notes in the background. A lovely complexity and generous tannins affirmed that this will evolve nobly with time.

From Allen Meadows' Burghound:
An expressive nose of a ripe and agreeably fresh mélange of red cherry and black raspberry is cut with warm earth nuances that continue onto the rich, round and quite fleshy palate. Flavours that possess good dry extract coat the palate on the vibrant, balanced, detailed and persistent finish. Excellent quality here. 91 Points
