Maison Champy Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from various parts of the region – Puligny, Meursault, Rully and the Mâconnais – to give the classic characteristics of Burgundian Chardonnay. Matured one third in stainless steel and two thirds in barrel, none of which were new, it was the period spent on its lees that has provided a smokey richness.
