The Buschet vineyard lies just below the family winery in the village of Barbaresco. As with the un-oaked Moccagatta Chardonnay, it is born in the grey marl soils of the commune but the age of the vines is higher at some 25 to 30 years old. The older vines produce lower yields of grapes but in return they give extra concentration and complexity of flavour, allowing the Minuto brothers to barrel ferment and oak age this flagship Moccagatta Langhe Chardonnay Buschet for 12 months.
