Fresh as a daisy and full of fruit, this excellent white Burgundy comes from the intermediate clay/limestone slopes in the commune of Montagny. It was vinified in stainless steel vats so there is no oak to detract from the pure fruit characteristics. It has an overall citrus character with fruit, flowers and mineral notes behind. Ample and round on the palate, the wine culminates in an elegant and long finsih. Try it with seafood dishes expecially in cream sauces or else with veal, chicken or fine cheeses.

About the grower
The Cave de Vignerons de Buxy is one of the great Cooperative cellars of Burgundy based in the village of the same name in the Cotes Chalonnaise. The cellar itself has around 120 members (grape growers) who all produce grapes in a variety of appellations that are then vinified by the skillful and enthusiastic team in the cellar.
Their production accounts for the great majority of Montagny wine produced as well as other Cote Chalonnaise wines and others from the neighbouring Maconnais. The whole range offers excellent value for money and epitomises all that is good in the Chalonnaise.
