Pernand Vergelesses Les Combottes 2017
Bright in the glass with a golden tinge, this is a fresh and elegant white Burgundy which has an open and lively bouquet of fruits with notes of honey and flint behind. These notes should develop further with ageing. It's now at its peak but should hold there for a further 3 years or so and it makes a superb food partner especially for langoustines and fine fish such as a Dover Sole.
The wines from this estate are always a delight to drink and this in particular offers great value for money.
