This well flavoured Rosso Conero is an intense ruby red colour with a full and vinous bouquet of ripe fruits and and spice. It is perfectly balanced on the palate with plenty of elegant sweet fruit balanced by a good core of acidity and soft ripe tannins. The full flavour lingers in the finish that lasts for a good length of time. An excellent partner to game or well flavoured red meats.

Coming from moderately old vineyards (an average age of 35 years) this bold red is definitely a food partner. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks and after it had completed the malolactic fermentation it underwent ageing in oak tonneaux for 18 months. It was bottled without any fining or filtration so you could expect a slight sediment as testament to the purity of the wine.
