This is an excellent offering from what is quite an underrated estate with vineyards sited close to Batailley, Lafite and Mouton. It has a deep garnet colour with bright aromas of black cherry, currants (red and black) that are underpinned with some meaty notes which is often a sign that it will age. In the mouth it has decent body with some notes of rusticity with the tannins. It should age well for a decade or so but is fun to drink now with faily rustic food.
