This fantastic little rose from Vega Badenes is made from pure Bobal grown in the open and sunny climate of La Mancha. No wonder Don Quixote was tiliting at windmills, this is so easy drinking he probably had far too much! Joking apart, this is a pale coloured, deeply fruited rose that is bursting with summer berry fruit flavours and aromas. On the palate it is mouth-filling and beautifully balanced, just the thing to bring out at a barbecue or in fact any gathering. Simply crack the screw cap and grab a glass or two. Watch out for low-flying windmills though!

Vega Badenes is a modern Bodega based in La Mancha. It is just 15 years old yet in this time it has become one of the leaders in supplying high quality table wines in Spain.
However, the family history as fruit growers goes back three generations and they are also one of the largest producers of Olive Oil in Andalusia. All things are based on quality. The winery is based in Manzanares, close to Cuidad Real and boasts a production of 40 million litres per annum. Everything is high-tech as you would assume for such a young winery and this modernism ensures a strict quality control ensuring each bottle is perfect when it reaches you.
