Purchased by the Lorenzetti family in 2008, Chateau Lilian Ladouys is being groomed for stardom and indeed, even now it has been elevated to Cru Bourgeois Exceptionell status. As from 2020, it is in conversion to fully organic working, yet another sign of just what the family are doing to bring this chateau up to it's previous glory.

In 2018 they expanded the vineyards by buying two neighboring estates and now they are set for some wonderful wine production. This is a great vintage to introduce you to the wines. A blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, this is a very elegant wine where the power of the high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon shines through.

Red fruits dominate the aromas with redcurrant, cherry and raspberry being particularly evident  together with hints of spice and menthol. Full on the palate with good depth in the finish. Tannins are ripe but still evident. This is  wine will more than repay some cellaring but even now it's great fun to drink.
