The Southern Rhone Valley

From simple Cotes du Rhone to the great vineyards of the Chateauneuf du Pape and Lirac, the Southern Rhone Valley has some incredible wines and whilst the majority of people regard it as the place where red wines are created, there are also some excellent white wines produced too.

Cotes du Rhone can come from all over the area, white and red, but there are some favoured spots such as the Plan de Dieu where many great wines come from. However, because the name is so well known here in the UK, you do have to be choosey when selecting your wines.
