Happy St Patrick’s Day!
We hope you’re all prepared for it with Irish stew and Black Velvet! Enjoy.
Now to this coming weekend. This is when the Vernal Equinox takes place and it heralds the first day of Spring. So, do the foods we eat and the wines we drink start to change? For many of us, yes. We start to look forward to lighter dishes and wines to match. For us, it’s from about now that we see a return to drinking rose wines after a long winter of heavier reds. Whites change too from the richer, barrel fermented offerings to the sleeker fresh and vibrant styles. And believe it or not there are a few red wines that we like to drink cool, so here’s a short selection for you to enjoy this spring and summer.
