The Eberle Wine Circle Maconnais and Beaujolais Tasting

A very big thank you to the Eberle Wine Circle for having me last night. It was a treat to look round The Artists' Club and I had a great time talking to them about the wines of Mâconnais and Beaujolais. It certainly seemed as though everyone enjoyed the brilliant wines from Domaine Du Bicheron, Didier Desvignes, Château-Fuissé and Domaine Du P'Tit Paradis as much as I did.

Favourites of the evening? A bit of a toss-up between the bright and lively Domaine Du Bicheron Mâcon-Péronne and the slightly more serious and structured Château-Fuissé Saint-Véran for the whites, and between the floral breadth of the Didier Desvignes Domaine Du Calvaire De Roche-Grès Fleurie Les Garants and the mature complexity of the Domaine Du P'tit Paradis Chénas for the reds.
